L’attività didattica e di ricerca e quello che dà un’impronta diversa alla nostra UCP. La direzione editoriale di Techniques in Coloproctolgy ha sede nella nostra unità. Se hai tempo e voglia di dedicarti alla ricerca ho hai un progetto in mente troverai nella nostra UCP un’ambiente ideale: abbiamo libri di testo aggiornati, accesso online a riviste e motori di ricerca, wireless internet, programmi di statistica e un ufficio attrezzato.

Trials Multicentrici in corso
Presso L’UCP sono in corso numerosi studi prospettici nazionali e internazionali :
- Seton or glue for transphinteric anal fistulas? A prospective randomised trial.
- Pexy vs no pexy in abdominal surgery for full thickness rectal prolapse. A randomized controlled trial.
- Fecal detector for fecal incontinence.
- Stopper for fecal incontnence.
- Capecitabine +/- Oxaliplatin neoadjuvant treatment of rectal cancer.

Inoltre sono in preparazione vari studi prospettici tra cui :
- Ruolo della TENS nella stipsi da ostruita defecazione e rallentato transito.
- Rettocele: Sarles vs sottomucosa intestinale porcina.
